Company history

The company STAVOKOV was established on October 7, 1994 as a small private trading company, whose main business was the production and assembly of locksmith products, smaller steel structures, the implementation of small buildings and the sale of metallurgical materials. In the first years of its activity, the company carried out production in leased production premises and with leased production machines and equipment. At the time of its creation, it employed 16 employees.

In 1996, the company was provided with the first loan from a program for the development of small and medium-sized enterprises, which was used to purchase land with an area of approximately 5,000 m2 on the outskirts of Trenčín, where there was one old warehouse and the rest of the land was a dump. With this step, the company began to build its own production facility. The first production hall was put into operation in 1997.

The company began to establish its first business contacts with foreign partners in 1998. The implementation of smaller deliveries of steel structures to foreign markets laid the foundation for future successful cooperation with foreign business partners.

At present, the company STAVOKOV realizes production in its own production area, which has a total area of 43,687 m², of which production space with an area of 4,572 m² with a production capacity of about 4,000 tons of steel structures per year, social, storage and administrative space with an area of 1,783 m², handling areas, external material dumps, parking areas and other land with an area of 37,332 m².

In 2020, a new production hall for surface treatment with an area of 1,500 m2 has been put into operation. The company employs 150-160 employees on a permanent basis. It exports 13-30% of its production to foreign markets.
